Robert Lee
Though audiences may not know Robert Lee's face, his voice was familiar to fans the world over. An accomplished voice actor and narrator, Lee was born in the United Kingdom in 1967. After growing up largely in Canada, he later settled in Australia with his family at age 16, where he almost immediately entered the world of radio. After booking a few jobs for 2CH Sydney, he was hooked by the industry. Lee would go on to work both on air and behind the scenes at 2Ay Albury, 7LA Launceston, 2DAY FM Sydney, and 2CC Canberra. He soon became interested in the world of promotional voiceover work, and began soliciting Australia's only voice talent agency with his demo tape. Before long, Lee began providing voiceovers for advertisements, and soon for TV series as well. Recording from his home city of Sydney, Lee began performing narration for the popular American TV series "MythBusters" (Discovery Channel, 2003-). He would also go on to become the voice of "Medical Incredible" (Beyond, 2005-2006), "Is It Possible?" (Discovery Channel, 2010), and "Connected: The Power of Six Degrees" (BBC, 2008).
