Ruth Lee
Ruth Lee was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Ruth Lee kickstarted her acting career in various films such as "Silver Skates" (1943), "Goin' to Town" (1944) and "The Town Went Wild" (1944). She also appeared in "The Man Who Walked Alone" (1945), "G.I. Honeymoon" (1945) and "Corpus Christi Bandits" (1945). She continued to act in productions like "Partners in Time" (1946), the Phillip Terry comedy "The Dark Horse" (1946) and "The Magnificent Rogue" (1947). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the crime feature "Whirlpool" (1950) with Gene Tierney, "Crime Wave" (1954) with Sterling Hayden and "The Long, Long Trailer" (1954). She also appeared in the adaptation "High Society" (1956) with Bing Crosby and "These Wilder Years" (1956) with James Cagney. Ruth Lee was most recently credited in the dramatic adaptation "Anna Karenina" (1997) with Sophie Marceau. Ruth Lee passed away in August 1975 at the age of 80.
