Segundo de Chomón
Segundo de Chomon began making newsreels and fantasy films in 1902, early on experimenting with single-frame animation, optical effects and traveling shots. In 1912, he moved to Italy, where his inventive camerawork contributed to the influential and internationally successful "Cabiria" (1914). Later Chomon became a special effects expert in both France and Italy, working on such films as Abel Gance's "Napoleon" (1927).
