Stephen McGann was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. McGann's career beginnings included film roles in the Glenda Jackson drama "Business As Usual" (1988) and the thriller "The Harpist" (1997) with Christien Anholt. He then acted in "The Hanging Gale" (1998-99) and "Catherine the Great" (2000-01). More recently, McGann acted on "Call the Midwife" (PBS, 2012-).
