A former television writer for the feel-good drama "Party of Five" (Fox, 1994-2000), Grant made a name for herself crafting strong, fully-realized female lead characters. Grant continually experimented in genres from drama to comedy to family fare, never losing focusing on the underrepresented lives of diverse women.
