Tim Buckley
Tim Buckley's popular fame was eclipsed by that of his estranged son Jeff Buckley, but he was a key figure in folk-rock's transformation into the singer-songwriter sound of the 1970s. A gifted performer with an iconoclastic, experimental streak, Buckley made a string of compelling albums before he died of a heroin overdose at the age of 28.
