Tom Rooney

Tom Rooney was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. Rooney began his career with roles in "Working Girl" (1988), "You Are Here" (1997) and "Gilda Radner: It's Always Something" (ABC, 2001-02). Later, Rooney acted in "Street Time" (2001-03), "Kojak (USA)" (USA, 2004-05) and "Pilot Season" (TRIO (Network), 2004-05). He also appeared in the Dennis Quaid blockbuster sci-fi motion picture "The Day After Tomorrow" (2004). More recently, Rooney acted in the Greg Kinnear dramatic adaptation "Flash of Genius" (2008).
