Virgílio Castelo was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Castelo began his career with roles in "To Catch a King" (1983-84), the comedy "Cronica dos Bons Malandros" (1984) with Joao Perry and the dramatic adaptation "O Bobo" (1989) with Fernando Heitor. Castelo next focused his career on film, appearing in the Maria Joao Luis drama "Camarate" (2002), "A Esperança Está Onde Menos Se Espera" (2009) and the Kyle Redmond-Jones dramatic adaptation "Star Crossed: Amor em Jogo" (2009). He also appeared in the Tomas Alves dramatic adaptation "Un Amor de Perdição" (2009). More recently, Castelo acted in "A Bela e o Paparazzo" (2010) with Soraia Chaves.
