Walter Shumway was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Shumway began his career with roles in "Wine" (1924) and the western "Headin' North" (1930) with Bob Steele. Shumway began to focus on film after appearing in the Harry Carey western "Night Rider" (1932) and the western "Whirlwind Horseman" (1938) with Ken Maynard. Later in his career, Shumway acted in the Ray Corrigan western "Wranglers' Roost" (1941). Shumway passed away in January 1965 at the age of 81.
