William Gillette
William Gillette worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Gillette worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Sherlock Holmes" (1922). Gillette also appeared in "Too Much Johnson" (1938) and "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" (1939) starring Basil Rathbone. Later in his career, Gillette wrote "Secret Service" (PBS, 1976-77).
