Lee L Let your inner child out! Watching this film, take into consideration that one, this is from 1988. Two, it is a musical. And three, it is meant to be campy. And also three, it is a CANNON GROUP FILM!!!! Why is this important? Superman IV. Cannon Group made some abysmal films, and campy ones, and those movies that you like to watch but can't admit to. Like 'The Delta Force', or 'Cobra', or 'Mannequin'. This is why it is a gem. While Siskel and Evert would probably have a colonic irrigation following this film, it is meant to be what it is. Silly. Puss is a silly little cat man who dances and sings and sometimes is just a little cat guy and I love him. He absolutely SLAYS the role as Puss in Boots and is now one of my favorite characters ever. This movie is supremely silly and great to watch with a friend for a good laugh.
