don s Another AfterDark / Syfy production. This is listed as horror, but is more sci-fi in nature. The military decides to allow two reporters into Area 51 to show transparency and concern for community by letting them see there are no aliens at the base. The trouble begins when the captive aliens (which look more like demons) break free. I like Boxleitner, though he is always in low budget, cornball sci-fi. This is more of the same. It isn't great, but I enjoyed it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Here is my understanding of this film: - Four aliens, one good and three bad - Good alien looks like a naan bread mixed with a tumorous potato coupled with the voice of Microsoft Sam. - Bad alien has shape shifting powers - Other two are crime fighting mother and child partnership who don't need no humans. - Some people die - Some don't - Something happens apparently - Film ends Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member SyFy & After Dark Originals Have Came Together To Present This Sci-Fi/Action/Horror, About Escaped Aliens On The Loose Within Area 51. Knowing That It's An After Dark Production, You Shouldn't Expect Anything Great, & You'd Be Right, It's Nothing That You Should Go Out Your Way To See. Even Though It's Not Great It Doesn't Mean That It's Not Enjoyable. Bad Script, Bad Acting But Some Decent SFX, It's Definitely Not What You Would Expect From The SFX On A film Like This, Their Old School Animatronics By The Looks Of Things & For Me That Makes It More Realistic. The Film Is Bad But Not Camp/Corny In Any Way, The Film Plays It Straight As A Sci-Fi/ Action With Trace Elements Of Horror. The Actor's Performances Are Far From Great But It Doesn't Affect The Film's Entertainment Or Enjoyability. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member 51 - LA VERDAD OCULTA Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Great film. UFO buffs will love it. The only thing I didn't like was the newscasts at the beginning and end. They were a little cheesy. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Aliens looked awesome.... That's the only good part. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
