Jerry R A very bad Hallmark Rom-com, with one of the dumbest script I have ever seen. The entire cast including Lexi Giovagnoli gives 5th grade performances. Only Brant Daugherty give a some what professional performance. The film has a stupid story line, however if you have 90 minutes to waste, this is the movie for you. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/28/24 Full Review Visual e This is like a Lifetime movie gone saccharin. I enjoy Lifetime movies, but the acting in this is over-the-top sophomoric. C'mon. People this age don't act this silly in situations like this, do they? I know a lot of people in their early 20s who are much more mature than these people. Hence, they're not believable. Clarissa's mother. Is she for real? Rissa is more mature. I'm being honest. The storyline is cute. The acting? It makes me forget the storyline. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/05/23 Full Review corkball Oh, it is bad. Typical rom-com plotline with the big misunderstanding. Dialogue isn't horrible, but the acting is bad. Real bad. Except for maybe the Chas character. But the real question is, will they fall in love? Sigh. My wife liked this much more than I did so I will give it an extra half star. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The idea was cute with ofcourse a cute ending. But the only real acting they ever did was the break up scene. The rest was almost painful to watch. I'm sure acting is hard so I don't like to criticize but I saw the girl look at the camera in one scene and it was so forced you never got lost or invested in the characters. Friends, family, people were put in at certain places just to say a line or two to force the story on. Cute story, bad acting. Good to fall asleep to Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I went into this movie with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The dialogue was solid with some lines that actually jumped out at me as being very relatable, and it was nowhere near as cheesy as I was expecting going into it. I thought the main characters had really great chemistry and it felt very genuine compared to a lot of rom-coms! I also felt like they handled the secondary love interests well without dragging in too much unnecessary drama. The ending felt like it was building on potential as opposed to a fully formed relationship being born out of one weekend which was refreshing. Overall, just a really cute and enjoyable film that had me laughing and smiling throughout.
