Audience Member An absolutely horrible movie in all regards. An entire movie spent running around in a jungle. Jokingly ametur graphics/animation, laughable dialogue and acting, and the inevitably comical interspecies romantic entanglement. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Like a lot of Asylum features, the Commentary track for this movie was a lot better than the movie itself, and the music was like that of a better movie. The film itself isn't out-and-out terrible, but it's constantly underwhelming or just kinda silly, with a woefully uneven sense of tension. To be honest, I liked this more than some of their other movies, such as their Zombie 2-pack or Atlantic Rim, and I like how this actually plays out with its own story rather than just copy-pastes the movie it's derived from, albeit that these are largely different clichés from different Sci-Fi properties. I also quite liked the final reveal, which I didn't quite see coming, and involved one of the very few competent CGI shots. Overall this is hardly one of the worst Asylum movies, but that doesn't really make it good by any stretch either. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Utterly unwatchable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review harry r It is worth watching at least once. The concept is pretty good other than the reasoning for the methane. It has a decent cast, script, but I can't get into the graphics. It looks like they ran out of money and had to put it out to market too quickly. The worst scene is when they get to the transport/gun ship and it is obvious that they had no money to complete the set. I never knew space ships would be made out of house building materials. lol. It is not the best sci fi out there, but it is a good B movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a really bad movie. Even the cliched plot I could deal with. And the third rate effects - sure - whatevs. But the writing - holy mother of god - beyond terrible. Just, wow. The dialogue was dreadful. The plot was terrible - I can dig cliches, but the holes were like canyons. Just, wow. To be avoided. This thing burned 1.5 hours of my life I will never get back. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Bad acting, poor writing and completely predictable. Special effects are cringe worthy. Despite this, I'd label it as "pretty bad", but not terrible. Would not pay money for it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
