Gary L Had to be low budget. Graphics and story line suck. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/20/24 Full Review Estefan S Bad acting, inane writing, silly plot devices, the writing from the Andrew and Sharon Jones duo gave otherwise horrid actors the opportunity to gestulate and feverishly deliver such gems as "we do not negotiate with terrorists…international or intergalactic …". I would think an alien civilization that can create spaceships the size of Sofi Stadium would have technologically superiority weapons but such logic fails here at times. The humans somehow read the alien ships logs. The odd hirsute general is calling the shots and spews nonsensical crazy drunk schizophrenic uncle nonsense wild eyed while speaking to nobody in particular. Of course the action begins in Area 41 in the Nevada desert where an alien craft was shot down and two of its crew wounded and taken prisoner. Why are aliens always naked? And they never have visible genitalia lol. NES level CGI, it appears the director used grainy public domain Vietnam Nam era stock footage for military scenes mixed with present day depictions which I found hilarious. The military leader/ General wore a Rasputin- like beard and cami uniform which made me wonder exactly what military he represented- the Salvation Army struck my mind as I could imagine him screaming the end is near at a soup kitchen as he repeats crazy screeds and conspiracy theories- and he's in charge. This film is more Battlefield Earth (a lamentable dog feces of an attempt of a sci fi film but a great butt of a joke for late night laughs with riff tracks) than Alien. It rambles on to a surprising new adversary to earth and the first Aliens come to earths rescue and fight off the reptilian invaders though they had been decimated by the humans. Finally the humans decide peace by scorched earth is the better policy in an explosive climax of an ending. Ha it wasn't that good. The first group of aliens were peaceful and contributed to earth's civilization so what did we do? Like everything else apparently. Humans are the bad neighbors who blast their stereos at 2 am, have a pitbull that attacked your Airedale, keyed your car, let their toilet overflow. Then burn down your home with you in it . Damn we suck. This film is on Freevee and Tubi also in my next feverous bad movie dream. This opus is an Alien Themed Birdemic so fans of bad framing, wooden actors and I have a cigar store Indian that would have made casting call! Wild gesturing aliens ( must have been from the Italian part of planet Epsilon Delta) and how was it the aliens could breathe on the moon and earth? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review George R Worst waste of time. Pointless plotless writerless. Hey lets make a movie and get some beer money!
