Thom G All About Evil has its own humorous, campy, theatrical, gory, and crazy vibe. It is also a dedicated, personal, entertaining and overall successful tribute to a certain genre of cinema. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review omg p The movie has pretty good atmosphere, over the top acting and likeable characters. From technical perspective the movie is ok. It doesn't look too budgety, sound and music is good and practical effects were great. It was really surprising how everything works together creating its own distinctive style. I recommend if you are in that right kind of mood to watch festival budget movies. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member If you have heard the rumors and chatter about this movie, how campy and funny and self-debasing it can be...it is all true. This movie has a ton of fun with itself, its plot, its characters, and the horror genre itself (especially cult midnight shows). If you are familiar with Peaches Christ, none of this will come as a surprise. Honestly, apart from general approval of the content and the creator, this movie is a must-see for genre fans. It has fantastic practical effects, actors that put their all (and then some) into their parts (it's gory...so get it? parts? lol), and set pieces that feel tailor-made for horror fans by horror fans. Keep an eye/ear open for horror film easter eggs and cameos! This movie has been unavailable for a long time but you can get it (as of July 2022) on Shudder (streaming) or Severin Films (BD). Enjoy! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member So campy! So queer! So gory! I loved this movie! It oozes the HGL-era influence and adds layers of camp and a bit of societal commentary for good measure. The performances are gleefully over the top and the effects are impressive with plenty of blood to go around. Never boring, we get treated to an intense murder within the first few minutes and it never lets up. Peaches Christ (director, writer, star) is an icon and to see a movie from their perspective is just amazing. As a queer horror fanatic I've looked up to Peaches AKA Joshua Grannell for a while, so I may be biased, but you should see this immediately cause it rocks! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A delightful, campy, gory tribute to the grindhouse. Those were the days. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member An instant cult classic!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/22 Full Review Read all reviews
