Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter Since the action takes place entirely on the plane, it's mainly of the claustrophobic variety, with the shootouts and fistfights often rendered in near incomprehensible fashion. Apr 17, 2017 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times The cast is game and the pace blessedly zippy, but everything about this film feels too fake to generate any real suspense. Daniel M This movie is totally frustrating! Waiting forever for them to get to the point! Dolph Lungren? Apparently a wanna be star? Did he take this movie for the paycheck? Horrible! This movie will want you to throw the TV out the window! Please! This is one of those movies where they make you watch in a concrete cell for torture purposes? You will cry uncle within the first half hour, screaming! Let me out! If you want to rid your house of unwanted guest? Just flip this one on, guranteed they will quickly leave and possibly never return.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review john l Who wrote this? And when will they graduate jr. high? This has the makings of a cult film but not the intelligence of Sharknado. Yes, it's that bad. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/12/24 Full Review Doug W Every single plot point in this movie was telegraphed. I actually spoke out loud everything that would happen next. There was no chemistry between any of the cast and some good actors like Dolph Lungren and Denise Richards were utterly wasted in this flick. The only positive about it was that I watched it at home for free. Imagine the anger for those who paid to see it. What really sealed the deal was the shaky-cam aspect of it. Not only was the movie predictable and boring, it was actually irritating. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/24 Full Review Kira T Se pasaron las leyes de la física por los huevos y una trama además de sonsa bastante cliché Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review Audience Member The plane was a mish mash of a wide variety aircreafr, sometimes the nose looked like a 757, some of the models looked like a 737. Early in the movie the plane was referred to as having fly by wire, later a hydraulic failure was mentioned. The walls looked like a 747, as did the exits, but the plane was a narrowbody. The special effects were terrible from the takeoff to the terrible ending crash scene. The radar screen never left the LA Basin, not what would be expected for a flight heading to Washington DC. Te scene landing and taking off between the flaming whatevers was ridiculous. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Altitude is that what you expect from a low budget B movie. The movie takes entirely almost on a plane so the movie does feel claustrophobic which means the action scenes are poorly shot and he can barely see what’s going on. The plot is a bit ridiculous with a lot of plot errors and bad acting. It’s a watchable film but as you can probably tell the ending is predictable and forgettable.
