Jeff F Lol, how is this movie at 91% with audiences when you start looking at the user reviews? A group of 60 year old dads must have gotten together somehow and made giving this movie positive scores their target Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Garrett M Story goes nowhere, they spent the whole hour building a conspiracy that they forgot to do any action. Why in the world was Bruce Willis in this move to only shoot 1 round. And don't get me started on the guns. Whoever the armor was needs to be fired there was no attention to detail on anything firearm related Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/05/23 Full Review Todd V Good enough to have on in the background but bad enough to focus your attention. Actors appear competent but are hobbled by the middling dialog and barely passable direction. Embarrassing and depressing for Bruce Willis' career. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Overall, movie lovers by now know what they're getting themselves into with another Bruce Willis movie.  To my surprise, Bruce Willis is ever so slightly more motivated on-screen here, delivering a few minor moments that feel more fitting for the actor.  However, I still can't deny that the characters deliver many unfitting, cringe-worthy lines and uninteresting dialogue.  While the setup contains a fun mystery and concept, the plot is uninteresting.  Due to it being extremely dialogue-heavy, I lost track of what was happening and zoned out upon my first viewing. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review steve d A mixed bag with a few interesting ideas but not enough Willis Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review paul h I really wanted to like this film but it was fairly rubbish on almost every level. Shame really as been a Willis fan for decades but this was not a great vehicle for him and the direction was at best confusing Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) Mostly it's just Bruce Willis with a gun, doing what he does in these movies. Jan 7, 2022 Full Review Cath Clarke Guardian [Willis] puts in a such a wooden performance playing a washed-up, burnt-out cop that I could have screamed in frustration. Rated: 2/5 Jan 6, 2022 Full Review Adrian Ruiz But Why Tho? A Geek Community There is a version of American Siege that could rival the great hostage films but its forced focus on Bruce Willis in the waning moments of the film largely makes it forgettable and one to skip. Rated: 4/10 Jan 5, 2023 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat The action moves smoothly and quickly with good storytelling to build the right tension between our heroes and villains. Rated: 7/10 May 31, 2022 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Riddled with bad ideas and dialogue but also peppered with bizarre touches and interesting character moments, this thriller isn't exactly good, but it does rise a little above others of its ilk.
