Audience Member This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I can't even be bothered to watch it in entirety. Bad special effects, spaceships don't seem like they are in the surroundings, bad background sounds, annoying ruffling of clothes, bad acting, dark rooms, jerky camera action. seems to have been made for about £1000 budget. I thought I was buying a hollywood movie. This is pure dog turd of the worst kind. a waste of the £1 i paid for it second hand. luckily im not wasting more than 15 minutes on this rubbish. All reviews giving 5 stars for this movie seem to be from the makers of the movie or people involved in it in some way. the rating is wrong, it should be a maximum 5% Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Every so often you'll watch a film that takes your breath away with how shit it is, this is one of those films. Don't bother watching this steaming turd, it's 90 slow minutes of sheer boredom and by the end frustration. The sfx are among the cheapest I've seen the story is pointless and the set for the film seems to be a shed, a small wooded area and a dark room with computers. Absolutely unforgivable Although not the worst film I've ever seen Atlantis Down comes pretty close. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Jeez. I just lost 88 mins of my life....... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Atlantis Down is definitely not a typical sci-fi thriller. The chemistry of the cast and their diverse level of experience keep things fresh. The cinematography and the visual effects are very nice, the direction is clever and clean. The plot is super complex but keeps you nailed to your seat. Great movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Clever, fresh and really well put together! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked it a lot. It made me think, and I had no idea what was going to happen next. That's a lot of fun for me. I think that if you are the kind of person who likes a movie that is smart and requires you to use your brain that you will really dig this movie. The story was intriguing and moved at a good pace. The actors did a fine job and I liked the fact that there were some fresh faces in the movie, although I certainly enjoyed the performances from Dean Haglund and Michael Rooker. It was put together well and was a visual feast. The director kind of reminds me of Christopher Nolan when he was getting started. If you like Christopher Nolan movies, you'll like Atlantis Down.
