Audience Member This fairly obscure French horror comedy deserves to be better known. A motorcycle stunt driver (Jason Flemyng) is thrown in jail by the father of a singer (Vanessa Paradis) he has fallen in love with. He promptly escapes from jail and heads back to her. Meanwhile a host of others including an entertainment lawyer (Benoît Poelvoorde from "Man Bites Dog") descend on the small town for a talent contest. The festivities turn into a bloodbath when aliens attack. This one is a bit like "Slither" in tone, but it's not quite that good. And lo, behold, it was so: Atomik Circus is craptacular. A random, pointless mess. Started off interestingly enough, but once the aliens arrive, the movie spins out of control. Avoid. C'est bien d'etre original mais pour faire un film, il faut un minimum de coherence. Ce rejet pseudo gore tourne avec les pieds et non scenarise est une aberration cinematographique comme j'en ai rarement vu. MARIELLE, POELVOORDE et FLEMYNG assurent quand meme le peu qu'ils peuvent sauver cette serie double Z meme pas digne de la pire production TROMA. Completement nul.
