Chris M Clearly this is a knock off of “the Avengers”. Even though the real “Avengers” won’t be out for another 2 years, everyone at this point knew it was coming. And this shitty studio jumped on ripping it off early. And this is the worst kind of knockbuster, it makes. There was one fight scene that was kind of impressive. But the rest is so awful that it even the Asylum would be ashamed to attack its name to it. The acting is awful, the villain is awful and what is a Scarab? A beetle, so ripping off Marvel wasn’t enough. The Sphinx doesn’t even have any powers and evil for the sake of evil. The dialog is bad even compared to a silver age comic. Also, the problem you use a stock still picture instead of actual effects. The Scarab crashes in Egypt in 2,600 BC but the Sphinx didn’t lose his nose until at least the 15th century AD. But a lazy movie with a budget that probably would buy a decent sports car wouldn’t care to do any research. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Spencer I was in pain when I watched this. The god-awful acting. The Power Ranger-style fight scenes that look like they're homemade YouTube video clips. The weird, annoying audio you can barely hear. The complete lack of any entertainment value. The fact that a movie released in 2010 looks like a 1970s pre-Superman spy movie is honestly horrendous. If anyone else notices any redeeming qualities in this thing, then let me know.
