Murjani Rawls Substream Magazine There’s a question to be asked after viewing “I’m Tim,” is it possible to keep the reason for your passion pure when it no longer is just your own? Jan 16, 2025 Full Review Juan Pablo Russo EscribiendoCine Through an honest narrative, the documentary leaves open the possibility of reflecting on the balance between the search for success, mental health and personal well-being. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 6/10 Jan 13, 2025 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider I’m Tim offers a complete, respectful, and ultimately inspiring look at the life and musical legacy of Tim Bergling, aka Avicii. Jan 2, 2025 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix Avicii — I'm Tim is a bittersweet documentary about this talented artist, but it omits a lot of details about his life, even with rare archival interviews. It's ultimately a cautionary tale about how fame and fortune cannot erase mental health struggles. Dec 30, 2024 Full Review Will Bjarnar Next Best Picture If you wish to view it as such, “Avicci – I’m Tim” succeeds as a tribute. But it has a lot more on its mind than serving as a visual legacy. Scott M The sad, but all too familiar story about the trappings of success. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/25 Full Review Alison S I was nervous about watching this film, given Tim’s suicide. However, his story, personality, and music were so engaging and I am very glad I watched it. My heart aches for these young people and their families. Tim was an amazing talent and an even more amazing young man. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/25 Full Review Carla W Absolutely breathtaking documentary - a beautiful tribute to one of the greatest musicians of recent years. A real insight into Tim’s creative mind, it makes listening to his music all the more impressive. Lovely to hear him speaking throughout but also heart wrenching hearing his struggles. Definitely worth a watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/25 Full Review Leonardo C Tim still whispers his message, I was born in 2000 and until today I found out about his story. It's incredible how a spirit can connect with others almost indefinitely. Rest in peace, Tim.
