Mark Kermode Kermode and Mayo's Take (YouTube) It's a horror film that isn't scary, and that's always going to be an issue. Apr 30, 2024 Full Review Noah Berlatsky Chicago Reader [Baghead] gets trapped in its own overcomplicated narrative contrivances, which suggest not the inevitable grip of death, but the endless try-hard of not-quite-baked genre product. Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald Corredor doesn’t take the time to make any of this matter to us. Apart from being encouraged to marvel at Iris’s uncanny self-composure in the face of the forces she’s managed to stir up, we don’t really get to understand what she’s about. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 29, 2024 Full Review Alistair Lawrence Common Sense Media This exposition-heavy, low-budget horror fails to make the best of the mix of new and familiar faces that make up its promising cast. Rated: 2/5 Aug 20, 2025 Full Review Guillermo Troncoso Screen Realm Works better when we’re in the dark, mystery-wise, and left unsure as to this creature’s intent and supernatural origins. Things get bogged down when the exposition arrives... A decent enough, small-scale horror flick. Rated: 3/5 Jul 29, 2025 Full Review Ian Bunting Daily Record (UK) If the superior Talk to Me didn’t exist I’d probably rate Baghead a little higher, however it still earns its place in the horror market with a haunting titular creation steeped in the stuff of nightmares. Kai K Actors were dumb and were not believable at all, but the storyline and idea for it was a great one. To bad for the bad actors or i should say bad character that were written. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/23/25 Full Review Malkoc Z İt is a horhor filmes. No playe france is vanderfull back up delay gelay Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/22/25 Full Review Chris K Interesting premise, poorly executed. Very boring, not very clever. Watch it for free. Don't expect much. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/22/25 Full Review 'Woody' D Its a low budget film that really isn't worth watching. I give it two stars only because I ended up watching the whole thing. The last 20 minutes, as I was watching I was also reading news stories on my phone. Don't waste your time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/26/25 Full Review Glaucia Alessandra S The tension definitely builds up as the story unfolds but when I expected to reach its peak it just becomes lazy. Characters could’ve been more developed and backstory of the which would’ve been so good to dig deeper. Main character was hinted to be the one that would make a difference since she’s been hurt in life but there’s no development on her backstory and her role in the story for *that* ending ends up just being boring and disappointing. Did enjoy the movie but expected the story to be better developed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Kashgar A Not too bad but not great. I agree with the critics on this one, too much earnest exposition instead of letting the story carry itself forward. Still it passed the time in agreeable fashion and that’s a good thing Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Read all reviews
