Mark Kermode Kermode and Mayo's Take (YouTube) It's a horror film that isn't scary, and that's always going to be an issue. Apr 30, 2024 Full Review Noah Berlatsky Chicago Reader [Baghead] gets trapped in its own overcomplicated narrative contrivances, which suggest not the inevitable grip of death, but the endless try-hard of not-quite-baked genre product. Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald Corredor doesn’t take the time to make any of this matter to us. Apart from being encouraged to marvel at Iris’s uncanny self-composure in the face of the forces she’s managed to stir up, we don’t really get to understand what she’s about. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 29, 2024 Full Review Ian Bunting Daily Record (UK) If the superior Talk to Me didn’t exist I’d probably rate Baghead a little higher, however it still earns its place in the horror market with a haunting titular creation steeped in the stuff of nightmares. May 8, 2024 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment There’s competence on display, but Baghead ends up feeling very paint-by-numbers. Rated: 4/10 Apr 18, 2024 Full Review Keri O'Shea Warped Perspective The tremendous reach which has been enjoyed by Talk To Me is hardly the fault of the team behind Baghead, even if we accept that Talk To Me is a very good horror story in its own right. But so is Baghead. Apr 13, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

'Woody' D Its a low budget film that really isn't worth watching. I give it two stars only because I ended up watching the whole thing. The last 20 minutes, as I was watching I was also reading news stories on my phone. Don't waste your time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/26/25 Full Review Glaucia Alessandra S The tension definitely builds up as the story unfolds but when I expected to reach its peak it just becomes lazy. Characters could’ve been more developed and backstory of the which would’ve been so good to dig deeper. Main character was hinted to be the one that would make a difference since she’s been hurt in life but there’s no development on her backstory and her role in the story for *that* ending ends up just being boring and disappointing. Did enjoy the movie but expected the story to be better developed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Kashgar A Not too bad but not great. I agree with the critics on this one, too much earnest exposition instead of letting the story carry itself forward. Still it passed the time in agreeable fashion and that’s a good thing Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review fabricio L Conferi com nenhuma expectativa, e isso foi bom.. mas assim eu consegui me surpreender bastante. (Apesar dos problemas, eu gostei muito) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/25 Full Review Puseletso S Not bad. It had some scary parts but the characters could have been unpacked more, especially the scary lady trapped in the basement. Like why did she want to leave? Where is she going? Also if Neil represented the men who put her there would she not want to torment him instead of killing him so instantly? Also what happened to kitty, is her soul sucked up, why didn't we see her die? Why did she hurt her? And where are the other dead bodies, she couldn't have been the first to die in the tunnels given that she was trapped there for so many centuries. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/25 Full Review Chris P Interesting concept but still had some tropes that I could do without. Why do people in horror movies insist on NOT following the instructions from the previous owner? I also would have preferred a better title but after seeing the movie I can see why they chose it. I enjoyed this probably more than most because I love seeing unique and original ideas on screen. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/25 Full Review Read all reviews
