The tremendous reach which has been enjoyed by Talk To Me is hardly the fault of the team behind Baghead, even if we accept that Talk To Me is a very good horror story in its own right. But so is Baghead.

Baghead is a good horror movie with a few misses here and there. For example, the jump scares are not that scary and some scenes of the movie were predictable. The overall story is a solid 8/10, but the ending has a great twist to it that most will probably not see coming.

Unfortunately, a good concept which wasn’t delivered onto the screen. Lacking any scares, it stutters through scenes. It definitely attempts to be creepy, but the below par acting and weak plot leaves the watcher bored and asking for more.

A lot is going on here, and not at all simultaneously. Baghead has a promising start and an intriguing premise, but it quickly dwindles to incoherent and tedious. The story needed to delve deeper into the lore behind the creature and explain why the pub keepers are attached to it and the property. The ending was a pleasant surprise, so I wouldn't say it was a complete flop.
