Audience Member What I was hoping for was a campy Gay-themed film. Instead I got a film that belongs in the bottom of the trash can. The direction is dreadful. The plot is idiotic and unfunny. Don't get me started about the acting.....ok some of the naked guys were nice to look at, but that was far and few between. There are better ways to spend the day! We'll figure out the details later, or...to hell with it, let's just make it up as we go! Oh yes - to secure the approval of our cult film-loving gay target audience, we'll cast some real young, real pretty boys...again, whether or not they can act doesn't matter. This film and 'Fag Hag' are his two best works. They should be listed with 'Girls Will Be Girls', 'Strangers With Candy' and 'Killer Drag Queens on Dope' as among the greatest films made in the John Waters era (other than those by J.W. himself, of course).
