Nick Schager The Daily Beast That's the film's first shortcoming-namely, that it doesn't really make a single, lucid point. Dec 16, 2015 Full Review Martin Tsai Los Angeles Times Gertten has put in the time to capture how these cities' unique scenarios unfold to mount a compelling case against the powerful automotive, oil and construction lobbies. Dec 4, 2015 Full Review Andy Webster New York Times Breezy, intelligent, diffuse but uncluttered, Fredrik Gertten's documentary "Bikes vs Cars" could be called a tale of congestion-plagued cities. Dec 3, 2015 Full Review Charles Mudede The Stranger (Seattle, WA) We are destroying the world that made us, that evolved us, and we have no idea if we will have a home in the world that is now replacing it...This is indeed the most important and sobering message in the rather melancholy documentary. Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Sherilyn Connelly SF Weekly Some of the ideas of Bikes vs. Cars have merit, but many... have a noticeable whiff of able-ism, and the film pays only minor lip service to people for whom biking everywhere always is not an option. Dec 3, 2015 Full Review Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat Spirituality & Practice Reports from cities around the world about the need for bikes and the problems faced by bikers. júlio a Muito bom para quem não conhece a realidade das bicicletas. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Propagandistica, parcial, deshonesta, pero lo peor es que parece mas dispuesta a predicar al coro que a ofrecer algo de valor a la discusion Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting documentary on how we live and commute around our cities and the conflict of cars and bikes on the road. Cars backed by big business like oil, developers and car manufacturers have essentially killed public transport and created gridlock on many of our towns and cities around the world. The humble bike is part of the solution.
