Harry Alan Potamkin The New Masses It is just another western of "the good bad man" who goes good for a girl, a theme and treatment which dates from the first Broncho Billy. Jan 14, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

brad h A boring Western about Billy The Kid and Pat Garrett. The direction by King Vidor is uninteresting. The two main leads (Johnny Mack Brown: Billy The Kid) (Wallace Barry: Pat Garrett) are miscast. There are no performances that standout. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member good historical western of sorts a lil miscast though Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member 131129: A thoroughly enjoyable film with many loveable characters. Had me cheering with excitement. For some reason, Johnny Mack Brown's Billy the kid reminds me of Bela Lugosi's Dracula. Neat costumes, classic dialogue, funny moments and good action. Fantastic.
