A killer with a flute takes down anyone non-music lover (or anyone who gets in his way really) and the events are dreamt by a young girl who happened to have gotten a transfusion of his blood when she was in a car accident. The acting is pretty decent and the characters are good (except for her father). But it is a pretty fun and funny ride through early 80s slasher tropes that will most likely entertain fans of the genre that have seen everything else. Some interesting ideas, but the first half drags and is complimented by cheap special effects and a lovely synthesizer soundtrack. At least, it would be typical except for one thing: The slasher is played by former teen heartthrob Frankie Avalon! Still, it should have come out better than this.
