Policewoman Amelia Donaghy (Angelina Jolie) is in hot pursuit of a serial murderer whose calling card is a small shard of bone extracted from each of his victims. Unable to decipher the cryptic clues the killer leaves behind at the scene of the crime, Amelia calls upon quadriplegic forensic criminology expert Lincoln Rhyme (Denzel Washington) to help. Chato pra caralho ser a pessoa do "li o livro e achei bem melhor" mas li o livro e achei bem melhor. É difícil compactar 800 páginas em uma hora e pouco de filme mas isso eles fizeram bem. Tiveram que cortar alguns dos crimes cometidos pelo assassino senão não daria certo, mas senti falta da Pam, por exemplo: A criança que foi colocada no orfanato e posteriormente tem grande participação no segundo livro. No geral, o filme é incrível até porquê tem ator e atriz foda como protagonistas. Rachei de rir com a Angelina Jolie preocupadíssima com fazer carão e mostrar que é bonita pra cacete. Denzel Washington im-pe-cá-vel para ser o Linc, as expressões e tom de voz e tudo estavam excelentes. O cara é pica. A cena de ação também estava ótima. No geral um ótimo filme (mas não mais que três estrelas).

This hails from a time when studios could assemble a reasonable cast, fart out a story with the depth of a boiled egg, film the thing with little in the way of effects or CGI and still, still, make an enjoyable film. It's just a basic, suspend belief bit of escapism you'll probably struggle to remember the next day. But it's not pretending to be anything else and for that, I think it's a great film to pop on.

Premisa interesante y divertida, pero horriblemente ejecutada. Un elenco buenísimo, pero los protagónicos con poca o nula química. Finalizando el segundo acto se vuelve soporífera y pierde coherencia del universo presentado al inicio, para terminar de manera ridícula con un plot-twist gratuito. Me siento defraudado por mis memorias de hace más de veinte años cuando la vi por primera vez.

Ein perfekter Psychothriller, der versteht, mit der Psyche der Zuseher zu spielen… eine klassische Detektivgeschichte, die immer wieder sehenswert ist.

She's a beat cop, dissatisfied with the gig. He's a former forensic investigator left a quadriplegic but with a mind that won't quit. Together they're going to stop a serial killer...or die trying. Good fun all-around and I loved the ending.
