Lucy Mangan Guardian Vandebrug's film should be allowed to stand alone, as a portrait of one child who stands for too many. Jul 22, 2019 Full Review Kaleem Aftab Cineuropa The film evolves from an objective piece to personal, and more sentimental; yet the pull of the streets and of Bruce Lee remains strong. Jeroen D Important and captivating portrait of streetkids living in the sewers of Bucharest right before they got closed down. A documentary that feels like a movie because of its structure and clever storytelling. Although everything is 100% real and authentic. Not easy to accomplish. It took Vandebrug several years to make. Its the best documentary i have ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/23/24 Full Review Gabriel J A important vision of structural poverty and it's effects over infants. Also a humanizing and innermost study over real people. Everyone should watch this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/23/20 Full Review Ersan K Yönetmen Jost Vandebrug sokak çocuklarından biri mi diye kontrol etmek zorunda kaldım. Çünkü çektiği belgeselde Romanya çingenelerinin sokakta, tünellerde yaşadığı süreci birkaç karakter üzerinden sarsıcı şekilde, içten resmediyor. Kapitalizmin yoksulların yakasına yapışan yüzünü görmek istemeyenlere iyi gelmeyeceği kesin. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/20 Full Review Sean L Heartbreaking for all, but ultimately redeeming for one child. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/12/20 Full Review Alper M Cult classic! Thank you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/07/20 Full Review Audience Member heartbreaking story of a boy growing up captured absolutely beautifully by the director. very special.
