Thomas O Unique try but not quite there. Let's be honest there's no one on earth that hasn't seen a zombie movie. So why do you portray ppl as idiots. Ok o get it this is not the blueprint for zombie apocalypse survival walking dead. But dammit give the guy some common sense. The stupidity and ability to predict everything ruins it for me. I went in expecting more action and was ready to rate it a 3 because of the lack of it, but the ending hit me like a punch to the gut. It almost made me cry. It’s a deeply sad film that really puts you in the protagonist’s shoes and makes you feel every bit of what he’s going through. The Australian landscape and its roaming former custodians — the Aboriginal people — imbues a tragic sadness for what we’ve done to the world and ourselves. This film struck me to my core as an Australian living with the confusion and deeply affecting spiritual price I want to ignore, but can’t, despite all the convenience of both my privileged ancestry and modern society.
