Audience Member This is by far the best Christmas movie in the entire world. We have to watch it every year or else it's just not Christmas! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review andrew s Some oddball scenes, where sexism is either ignored or glorified and where fights are portrayed as laughable rather than alarming, detract from the film's interesting plot and character development. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Some people panned this film in the 80's as being a lot of sentimental goofiness or worse yet, Anti-Christian?! As someone who has loved film and cinema her entire life and teaches it now, this couldn't be much of a better Christmas film if it tried. There is a serious message of self-sacrifice here and some quite sensitive acting by both Tom Wopat and John Schneider, particularly Tom with the flashback scenes. Its a good film, well worth seeing and Hoyt Axton is a pleasure to watch as well. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Not sure where this crept in from. 80's tv movie starring Bo and Luke Duke, but not as the Duke boys. The boys embark on a lorry road trip to get secret gifts home from California to Alaska (sounds a long way doesn't it). Good news, they don't appear to need to cross any country borders to get there! All the 80's schmuk is here, so expect lots of sentiment. Also stars the guy who actually bought Gizmo in Gremlins. Interesting fact: The Canadian filming location was chosen due to it's always snowy weather. Filming started just after a once in a lifetime warm spell mounted most of the snow. Even in the 80's there was global warming! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member That had to be the lamest movie I've seen all year. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the most wonderful movies I have ever seen Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
