Audience Member It’s essentially a scarier Goosebumps for preteens and young adults, cheesy special effects and all. A perfect family watch. Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/16/24 Full Review Audience Member “Curse Of Crom: The Legend Of Halloween” is a fun, goofy film perfect for those new to the horror genre. I especially appreciated the “cat burial GoFundMe” joke. Additionally, the film has some pretty solid performances from the cast, which makes it much easier to overlook some of the shoddier aspects of the writing, directing, and casual instances of overreacting. As a straight horror, it’s not frightening. However, as a “horror” with comedic elements, it’s a fantastic treat.
