William D This was an okay film not as good as the first. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Not as good as the original, but still well worth your time. David Bradley is as good as ever in this exciting sequel! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/21 Full Review Audience Member If there's a way to enjoy this film it would have to be in a so bad it's good way. Early on there is a line from Morgan Hunter, who plays the lead villain in which he calls an average sized guy a fat bastard. Clearly the script called for someone fat but at some point the role was recast but the line was unchanged, just one example of many of what this film has to offer. The main drawback of enjoying the film in an ironic way is the best performance comes for Hunter who hams it up, but much like Ryan Reynolds in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, after his transformation he loses his personality for most of the film except at the very end. Btw there is no Cyborg Cop in the film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Sloppy plot, when you think it's over it still has another 30 minutes to go. The characters are corny, with plenty of silly effects and scenes. Some of the action is fun, and there's enough camp to go around. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Cheap, cheezy, corny, campy, and hilariously incompetent schlock. But even as a so bad its good B movie, it lost me about halfway (I started falling asleep). Haha, but I'd watch it again (with friends) to mock it. 6/10 (for being so stupidly entertaining) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Let's get one thing straight here: don't let the title fool you. Cyborg Cop II doesn't feature a single cyborg cop anywhere, so the cover art for this movie is flat out lying to you. It's just a way to get you to see it because it's not a good movie. It has a lot of those cheesy action movie elements to it: lots of fights scenes, explosions, and gun fire, some of which aren't bad. It just feels silly most of the time though, with a very stale plot that tends to forget about characters. It's not that the characters are all that memorable to begin with either. But the movie is slightly enjoyable in the context of a movie that's so bad that it's good. It comes from director Sam Firstenberg, who also directed American Ninja, the infamous Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo, and my favorite of his work, Ninja III: The Domination. Rifftrax also recently did a riffing on the movie, which is worth a watch, as well. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
