Maria G The scenery was beautiful, but I couldn't take the person narrating it. Her voice was so irritating that I couldn't finish it in one sitting. I ended up muting the voice and putting on closed captions. If not for this I would not have been able to finish the movie. Horrendously non-engaging to the point of putting us to sleep! That woman's voice is so unnatural, that it became shockingly off putting to where we could not get past it. The narrator was devoid of proper human instincts so she was unable to pull off being of any interest on any level (even the kids had bad looks on their faces!). And about how grating that voice was- yikes, it was just SO BAD!!! The irksome quality of the narration was distracting enough to completely ruin our normal experience of thoroughly enjoying every documentary we've chosen to watch on nature and animals. It was so phony and so monotone that none of us were able to engage other than to agree how off putting it was and finally call it quits before she bored us to death.
