I was careful considering some shows comes off with a boring continued season and my worries disappeared watching this. Love the character growth on almost all of the characters. My absolute favourite that made me all happy watching was Fanny & the twist on the murder case. The way I gasped! I didn't even expect it. Wish there was more investigative side on it. Good balance of the romance, medical, crime, & reality of poverty. The costumes were amazing too. Though, I did felt like the ending for the romance was rushed which was disappointing on that part. Not only is the cast spectacular, but so is the script, the set pieces, and the music. You can feel the passion infused into this show. It has a bit of everything: action, mystery, romance, comedy, heists, and medical drama. And it does each so well. The Artful Dodger is an absolute must-watch! I'll be rewatching the first two seasons over and over again in eager anticipation for the next season! As so rarely happens these days, I find myself clamoring for another season, more episodes. I actually can't wait to learn more about Dodger, Belle, Fagin, Boxer, Prof, Sneed, Fanny, etc. etc., because the writers and actors/actresses and frankly everyone involved has clearly given this show their best. The performances, costume/set design, and writing, all work together to immerse you completely in Dodgers world, and in no time at all, you're laughing along with them, crying, and all consumed with whatever scheme, medical oddity, or mystery is set before you. This season feel a little different but not in a bad way, with the styles, music, and overall mischevous shenanigans they get into, but the love story.. Belle and Jack keep me coming back for more, Ive already started rewatching.. their love and chemistry and even jack and fagin, its just so entertaining to watch and pine for.
