Ian Kane Epoch Times “Something to Live For” is an engaging watch for those who don’t mind their melodrama served with a healthy dollop of schmaltz. Rated: 3/5 May 1, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Peter W Overall, this classic film is highly recommended if you enjoy a story surrounding forbidden love. The film is dialogue heavy, and every word spoken is done so well that the characters are compelling, particularly when it comes to their wrestling with their temptation for one another. The pacing is great, and I enjoyed seeing our leading characters progress and change dramatically as the runtime continues. With so much greatness here, I am disappointed by the film's final moments, which decided to be vaguer and more ambiguous about key plot details. Viewers are left to determine Jenny and Alan's fate. Nevertheless, this film captured my heart and left a lasting impression. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Simply put the voice is flawless, her interpretive powers unparalled and the information on her life revealing to how it impacted her artistry. Ella was in that rarefied stratosphere with Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra who got inside a song made it their own and illuminated it's internal life for millions of people.
