Audience Member Evil Ed is a 90's Swedish film that tries to be a harrowing homage to horror through humor. While the films sense of humor does seem a bit over the top, like say Troma but with a budget. But just when you think this film is a flop and should be left on the cutting room floor, it surprises you with the number of nods to so numerous famous horror movies. Plus, the film is packed with a slew of gory, Karo syrup soaked, practical special effects that have never before been attempted in Sweden until this time. So all of this, coupled with a witty satirical, and yet serious message about creative censorship in the 90's, definitely makes this film an interesting blood-soaked watch for horror fans! Por desgracia no es así, o al menos no en la versión que he vuelto a verme, pero al menos sigue siendo divertida y creo que todo amante del género que no la conozca debería echarle un vistazo a ver que tal. Eso sí, creo que The Editor, hace mucho mejor trabajo como parodia del género (en aquel caso, más centrado en el gialli) que esta cinta.
