Robson C O Clã do Lótus Branco se revolta depois que o Imperador suspende a proibição do Templo de Shaolin, concede liberdade aos discípulos presos e que o seu líder foi morto por Hung Wen-Ting e Wu Ah Biu. Eles atacam os discípulos de Shaolin, matando a todos. Os únicos que sobrevivem são Ting e a esposa grávida de Biu. Ting passa a treinar muito, mas percebe que isso não é o bastante. Então ele passa a incorporar outros estilos, como o kung fu feminino, e habilidades, como a acupuntura. Tudo isso para vencer o líder do Lótus Branco, o Mestre Lótus Branco. Um divertido filme de artes marciais, com excelentes coreografias das lutas. O interessante aqui é o estilo que o personagem Ting passa a adotar mesclando os tradicionais garça e tigre ao kung fu feminino mais gracioso. Há espaço para o humor tanto por parte do protagonista quanto de personagens secundários. Liu Chia-hui e Lo Lieh estão muito bem como antagonistas neste filme. He trains to exact vengeance upon the evil priest who leads the clan. This flick is 90% fighting and training sequences, but they're so damn good, you won't care. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I hadn't watched that many Gordon Liu pictures until recently, but I've really come to appreciate him as a martial arts actor. Besides is skills and charisma, he probably has the best scowl of any actor I've ever seen. In this film, directed by Lieh Lo, Liu takes on an evil white-beard-stroking priest, White Lotus, who actually looks very similar to one of the two characters Liu would play in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" films. The film has a pretty familiar story, with the White Lotus doing some evil things, Lui then trains to fight White Lotus, and then the two face of in a climactic fight. This film does feature some clever training sequences I hadn't seen before, mainly of which is Liu practicing on paper mannequins to perfect his fighting technique. Terrific faction, solid production values and a strong performance from Liu makes this a must see for kung-fu film fans.
