Sean L. McCarthy Decider It’s for the masses already on board with everything Fluffy has to say. Even if he’s said it all before. Jan 9, 2025 Full Review Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut Iglesias’s opening bit is a reassuring reminder that he won’t be political or offensive, simply entertaining, which is a promise he only half keeps. He’s definitely not political or offensive. Rated: 1.5/5 Jan 7, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

ella K This was bizarre. He talks incessantly about his success and promises not to be political but goes on to dog whistle conservatives with buzz words and a clearly fabricated story about a homeless family. His jokes revolved around his total disdain for inclusionary or empathetic societal norms. He sold out his most loyal fan base for cheap approving grunts from the very group who would round up his family into concentration camps. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/25 Full Review Alexis E This was disappointing to say the least. I understand that not everyone understands that society evolves, but choosing to make fun of marginalized groups is never funny. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review avid v Well shoot.......it's easy to want to watch Fluffy do his comedic thing......this stand up special was reflective........too much ted talk and not enough humor. He is a comedic professional with so much amazing talent, but this didn't feel like a comedy special. It felt like comedic stinginess........not enough genuine delight and laughter by far. The audience was so with him, so patient to wait on the laughter they wanted to spill out into the air......when he gave them the occasional good one, they were ripe to laugh. But it felt like he was just not there to be funny. His age, his take on relationships, the protection of walls around his heart, his take on guns, his take on robbery, helping the homeless/unhoused.......the privilege that allows him to sell his home after this happened, Most people can't sell their homes when someone breaks and enters. I don't think that anybody wants Fluffy to simply dance, like in an old western when the bad guy shoots at someone's boots.............he is more than the entertainer delivering big laughs. However......he doesn't have that same hunger in this show - he seems so distanced from his own comedic virtuosity. I found myself spacing out, so distracted that I got up to add items to my grocery list. Then I started washing dishes having forgotten to even pause the special. That is not normal during a good stand up show.....not for me and not while viewing Fluffy. I hope he enjoys dating, that he can deal with being 47.......I'm decades older than he is.......so to me he's still a kid.......maybe he can find his way back to lighting up the comedy stage. This special felt like something special just not a comedy special.......like he had things he needed and wanted to say........ he needs to invest more in his creative wonderful self and share more of that on stage. I felt bad for the folks who bought a ticket......felt bad when they gave him the occasional big surge of applause that was all too rare during this performance. I felt bad because they were there for him.......but he wasn't there for them as the comedic talent he is and has. Feels like he was there to use the audience as he lay on a couch and shared more personal things, taking stock of his life. He is not done and needs to remember how not done he is. Take a breath Gabriel, reset....or vacation or talk to someone, make some new friends........found myself thinking of George Clooney and his adamant denials that he would ever marry again and then he met his beautiful life partner.......and I thought I hope that Gabriel finds his special someone to share life with......... and come back to the stage with that hunger and fire and delight........even though I saw you in this special I was more sad than anything. I hoped for a comedic feast and left with only a couple of morsels of laughter. Still feeling hungry...... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review bonnie h When did Fluffy lose his groove?? Show is not funny, everything is stale, so many repeats... needs a new writer. Don't bother watching! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review PJ L This is stale. A lot of old man energy about not being able to deal with a changing society. Recycling jokes. Lame as hell. I remember seeing him live years ago and he was good. Now he's just rubbing one out on stage to his career as the audience cheers. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/17/25 Full Review Kathy J What happened to Fluffy? Watched 10-15 minutes and didn't laugh once before just turning it off. He managed a tightrope between boring and forgettable and grouchy old man.
