william s Horribly acted movie with a terrible script....quite the quinilla. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member An interesting premise about a paranormal investigation TV host, Ghost Don't Exist feels like a non-found-footage version of Grave Encounters or Episode 50 (or their countless other rip-offs) without the scares. Decently made, Ghosts Don't Exist tries to take an original approach to its storyline, but ultimately it just plods through its plot without ever fully capitalizing on its creepy potential. It just leaves you feeling let down at the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The acting is bad. The direction is bad. But the story ok! B movie territory defiantly. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member 2 - There are some intriguing ideas behind this unimaginatively titled thriller, which seemingly aims to be a ghost movie for skeptics. Things are fine when things start going bump in the night, but the cheap straight-to-video nature of the flick and the woefully poor performances really pull it down. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member really?! Well at least it was better then paranormal activity Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked this film. I'm a fan of the critic Roger Ebert, and if you are too, you'll know what I mean when I say using his system I'd give the movie two and one-half to three stars. The acting is fine; they simply aren't "names"; maybe one casting mistake. The story is interesting; there is real tension; events in the film reveal that what is happening is not only possible but plausible in the real world; the hero's ultimate decision is deeply wrenching for him and based on a strong affirmation of life. The film held my interest throughout and afterwards, I reflected on how this precise story could have occurred in real life. In fact, upon reflection, I think I'd give it three Ebert stars.
