It's not exactly smooth -- it smacks of a limited budget or a rushed production -- but this animated Christmas movie for kids is still sweetly charming, adorably silly, and full of good cheer.

1. The "Spirit of Christmas" is believing in a sparkly reindeer? Ugh. 2. Far too many and too lengthy scary scenes of aggressive wolves baring their teeth. These scenes went on and on, causing the preschool kids to cry and hide their eyes. The bear could have been a little less scary and a little less depressed. 3. We hated how this film took concepts such as the true spirit of Christmas, the Christmas star, gift giving, and St Nicholas/Santa Claus, and reduced them mostly to secular drivel. 4. The animation was colorful and sometimes cute, sometimes strangely off-putting (the glassy eyes, all alike and oddly staring. 5. The little elf girl walking her mom to work and being left to her own devices and to care for herself. Not a good example for anyone!

This movie was so wholesome and sweet. A nostalgic return to the type of holiday movies I loved as a child. And my kids adored it! We all left the theater with smiles on our faces.

It was a cute movie, felt kinda low budget and the colors werent vivid at all for a Christmas movie. Story line was kind of shallow and amateurish and I thought this movie would be better for at home on Prime Video or childrens holiday movie
