Sarah T The soundtrack is stellar, especially the track '99 Pills'—it gave me goosebumps! I swear the actor playing Nathan was singing it. I wish it was longer. I thought it was going to be a film about basketball but it was so much more than that. The love story between Trevor and Jamal makes my heart melt. The guy that plays Nathan is my favorite. His song 99 Pills is phenomenal. He sings so good. The singing and music throughout the entire film was pretty good. I would say that some of the transitions into the songs were a little rough but once the songs started, I didn't care about the transitions because the songs themselves were good. Sure, the purse strings were pulled tight, but the sheer determination to turn this into a masterpiece was on full display. We gotta cut these independent film makers some slack. They're putting in the work without a large machine behind them. The actors were top-notch, even though I couldn't recognize a single face. And can we talk about the singing and tunes? Mind-blowing!
