Ken reflects the struggle many men face: wanting to fix what cannot be fixed, and going through the internal warfare of emotions but reflecting strength in the outer world. Love in this film is sacrifice, devotion, courage, and presence. It isn't just physical but it is DIVINE. The film offers no easy answers. The critics seem to be more honest. This is a flat out boring mess. A high school kid with minimal knowledge of film making could come up with something more interesting, I'd imagine. The leads have zero chemistry (not saying they are bad actors--just nothing to work with) and that weird haunting background strain just about drove me nuts.
