Yeah I mean...here's the real question is there any reason to watch this over other/better sports/boxing movies? Heck No. But that doesn't mean it's broken or anything. Besides some subpar editing everything else is pretty much ok about it. It has trouble making the events not just with each of the two fighters flow into a cohesive story but add jumping between the two on top of that and it becomes very messy but never unwatchable or boring. It really feels like it (self awaringly) borrows and takes winks and nods at other boxing flicks. Besides that the other issue is this is very light hearted with tons of humor throughout and most of the time it just falls flat rather than being cringe. It does get a laugh every now and than but very few. The best usually comes from Arkin and Kevin Hart oddly enough who have a weird chemistry sometimes. IT's kind of bizarre. Otherwise there isn't much else here that hasn't been done better before and the direction isn't anything standout but very basic as well. Unless your a big boxing flick fan AND a fan of any actors in this, I would say skip this.

Pathetic. Inexcusably bad. One of the stupidest movies in cinema history and a disgrace to the fine Rocky & Creed series'. These two old farts embarrassed themselves for taking off their shirts for this ridiculous excuse for a fight scene.

As expected, the movie is filled with jokes, punches, and a lot of heart. Stallone and De Niro both give solid performances, and their chemistry is undeniable. The supporting cast, including the wonderful Jon Bernthal and Kim Basinger. While "Grudge Match" is not a groundbreaking film, it delivers what it promises - an entertaining sports comedy-drama with two Hollywood legends who still have what it takes to deliver a good show. The movie is a fun watch for both boxing and comedy fans, and it proves that age is just a number when it comes to pursuing your dreams.

Stallone and DeNiro make an entertaining pair who hate one another in this geriatric boxing flick. Rocky vs Raging Bull. That's what we're looking at. Supporting actors like Hart and Bernthal make it even better. It's a comedy, but there are dramatic aspects here and there, some of which are very well done. But the movie tends to get bogged down in the hatred between the two leads. It gets annoying hearing them bicker every 15 minutes. They don't even do it that well, either. It's a very average comedy with some bright spots that keep it entertaining enough to keep watching. Some of the actors, as great as they are, get underutilized. The runtime is 20 minutes too long. Despite the issues, I'm glad I gave it a chance.
