Scott Weinberg eFilmCritic.com Delivers more satisfying jolts than most of the big-budget horror movies I've seen this year. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 11, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member The 'found-footage' equivalent to 'The Room'. It's sooooo bad that i actually sort of enjoyed it, albeit just for the cheese factor. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A little known indie "found footage" chiller about a man named Derick who's dying of bone marrow cancer and chooses to document his last days, as if anyone (left?) alive was morbid enough to WANT to watch such a depressing event, unless of course there was a slight chance these videos may have picked up..something else. Something very, very bad and for some inexplicable reason had a grudge on poor Derick.. It's not the best acted piece of work commited to film but far from the worst and there are some effective scares, all done using like basically a zero budget. I appreciate when directors like Amanda Gusack at least TRY to add something new and interesting to what has really become a threadbare concept and this one, mostly, worked for me. (The girlfriend was super hot as hell too, so that helped lol) **1/2 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review william s Light on horror and ditto for scares. One hot girl is all that is worthy about this movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I've seen this film get 3 out of 5 stars, and comments stating that this film "had the best jump scares of any modern horror film." I don't want to be harsh but I have PTSD and I did not jump once during this film. The acting isn't the worst I've seen, but it was far from the best. The story itself had promise but the film overall feels lacking. Maybe I went in with higher expectations than I should have. I think this was a case of too much hype and not enough delivery. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member An inventive ultra-low budget film-It's hard to gauge this film-only it's hard to see how inventive it was given all the similar films that have followed. The story here is actually more intriguing than the Paranormal Activity films: given months to live a filmmaker decides to document his final days via camera. The dialogue borders on terrible at times, the acting is uneven. But for what this film was, and how it still delivers scares, it is rather effective.
