For the first half of the movie, I was totally hooked. Everything seemed quite realistic, and I could totally relate to all the creepy ideas about spider attacks. The second half of the movie is a typical creature feature thingy. Big spiders that are getting bigger and bigger. Definitely worth watching and one of the best creature horror movies in the past ten years. Would have preferred a different second half of the movie but it will creep you out if you don't like spiders.

This movie is way too predictable and not scary. It's like the modern day version of arachnophobia but with worse acting and in French. Which is the worst language to watch with subtitles.

I enjoyed Infested all the way through. It kept its pace throughout and the tension built with the skill of the cast. I'm a sucker for the genre and creature features are among my faves. I also adore spiders. I read a negative review with something like, "Please. There's not a creature on earth who [is like these spiders] ..." blah blah blah. You can say that about so many creature features and horror movies! The movie was intense. The CGI was decent (pretty good, not perfect). If I was going to be critical, I guess I'm disappointed they used different species/genera instead of sticking to one. All in all, it was a pretty solid flick and I enjoyed it. Probably not for everyone, but who cares?! If you like tense movies and/or creature features, it'll likely be worth the watch.

Infested updates arachnophobia vibes but doesn't really scare. The heavily CG'ed spiders aren't gritty enough to match the grungy french back story.

I don't understand the accolades heaped upon this film. It's not a bad film as far as the "young people trapped in a building running from monsters" genre goes. I just had a hard time accepting the premise. There's not a living organism on Earth that procreates and mutates as fast as these spiders do. I thought the ending was rather weak as well.
