But the best thing I can say about Infested is that I squirmed in my seat as if I were sitting on a chair made out of upturned nails for the majority of the running time. Go to Full Review

The kind of film where a viewer feels compelled to shake out their pant leg afterwards to make sure there aren’t any critters hiding in there, which, on an elemental level, makes Infested a success. Go to Full Review

Emerging director Sébastien Vaniček’s skittering debut rocks Attack the Block vibes, except with earthly eight-legged menaces instead of aliens ... disturbingly good fun, it will leave you itching for more. Go to Full Review

Sébastien Vanicek‘s debut is a little oddly paced, but has a class-conscious core and a pleasantly anarchist ACAB streak. Go to Full Review

Alric R @RT50991916 3d This Movie was terrible, spiders aren't scary I eat them for breakfast See more James I @James66 Apr 28 id rather watch an stare at a white wall for 1.5 hours next time. another worthless dumb low budget spooky spider movie. the spiders look fake and every scene is made as cheap and stupid as possible. the french language doesn't make it better. it makes it worse in this specific movie. soulles garbage See more John C. @Johnnygrocks Jan 20 Started out with so much potential. But then they turned it into a big drama. The Story got muddled, to much screaming plot lost its way and it all went down hill. You're in luck if you enjoy titles like Arachnophobia or Evil Dead Rise. Infested combines aspects from both titles and delivers a fun movie with successful jump scares, creepiness, nasty kills, and lots of spiders. The old rundown apartment building is an excellent setting on display that changes as the film progresses. The film's leads are pretty enjoyable and robust enough that viewers will cheer them on, hoping for their survival; however, the side characters are a weaker aspect. While the spiders here look real in every way possible, the movie has limited repeat viewings, and some moments are bound to be forgettable.  Nonetheless, it's a great time and fun concept, and horror buffs will undoubtedly be pleased with the results. See more matthias s @Thescreenasvor Aug 20 So, Infested finally crawled off my watchlist and wow—what a ride. I’m usually not a fan of spiders (seriously, eight legs are five too many), but these things looked terrifyingly real. CG or not, I was squirming. The first act takes its sweet time with setup, but once the chaos kicks in it’s kill after kill, no hesitation, pure nightmare fuel. The atmosphere drips tension, and if you weren’t afraid of spiders before, congratulations—you will be now. On the downside, the characters feel messy and kind of irritating, which made the third act lose steam for me. Still, as a creature feature it delivers hard. Knowing this team is tackling the next Evil Dead has me excited. Creepy, messy fun—3 stars. See more Read all reviews
