victor o I'm not the biggest zombie movie fan but I appreciate them every once in a while, and this was a decent film. To be honest I jumped at seeing former WWE Divas champion Maryse Mizanin in a movie and I wasn't disappointed with her. There wasn't anything new in the annals of zombie lore for this to be interesting, but it was a good take anyway. A US bioweapons project goes awry, and a ten-year quarantine takes place. The quarantine ends as a US Navy SEAL team comes in with another with a CIA doctor to find out what happened after all those years. The quarantine has revealed a dangerous outbreak of beings corrupted by a strain of Ebola that transforms people into zombies. From the quarantine's ending to the SEAL teams taking the fight to the Isle of the Dead. I saw this to check out Maryse Mizanin and I have to admit she was good in this, nothing Academy award worthy but she did better than other WWE Divas who are weak actresses, Maryse, on the other hand, feels more real in the role of a CIA agent with French roots. Being a former WWE Divas champion, she is more than convincing as a capable fighter. Joey Lawrence delivered as the lead SEAL team operative fighting to restore order in this apocalyptic battleground, I almost forgot this was the teen idol of yesteryears. I caught this streaming, but it's unfair, it should have a Blu-ray release. I didn't enjoy this one very much. Acting wasn't great and the signature paltry special effects from The Asylum are terrible. Joey Lawrence and WWE's Maryse Oulette star. Not too many practical effects nothing stands out but its basically a rail shooter in A movie Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member 2016-10-07 hubby saw, I refused.
