Audience Member Took some time to get in to, didn't like the first half to be honest but it really grew on me and managed to finish strong, it turned out to be a great little discovery. The film manages to capture well the (economical) uncertainty of the current youth in former Yugoslav countries. The acting is very naturalistic and deserves all praise, the characters feel like real people. Recommended if you like a good coming-of-age story with a great soundtrack. It reminds quite a bit of the Mexican hit 'Y Tu Mama Tambien'. There are several scenes here that are remarkably beautifully shot and that blend perfectly with the fantastic ambient music on it. 7.5/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Yep, it's a road movie. But is it a good one? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This is quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. Period. First of all, it's just incompetent on a film-making level...the director clearly went to the "hold wide shots for way too long even though nothing happens" school of filmmaking. Secondly, it's just unpleasant. The story is about 3 college kids going on a road trip. The two boys only refer to each other as "D*ckhead" and "Fat*ss" (seriously, I forget what their actual names are), and one of the first scenes is them peeing on cars from on top of a bridge. Because she can't, the girl then kneels down and pees on the guys' shoes. Nice. Real likable characters we have here. Now, they WOULD be likable if they were the slightest bit funny. But they're not. They're just irritating and stupid. The entire movie, they act like total douches and do horrible things. The soldier boy literally doesn't care at all when recalling the fact that he drove over a little kid and kept going, and later, he attempts to guilt-trip the girl into having sex with him. And then all of a sudden, the movie goes "Oh, hey, these guys all had terrible things happen to them, so you should like them and feel bad for them now." Well, forgive me for being insulted when a movie tries to force me to relate to a guy who doesn't care that he drove over a child and an obnoxious douchebag who loudly asks a cashier an extremely inappropriate sexual question in the first scene and wears a t-shirt that says "P*ssy Eater." (To be fair, I do feel sorry for the girl - she does experience real tragedy, and she's the one semi-decent person in the group.) This entire movie is just one long, badly-made string of horrible people acting obnoxious. I had to watch this film at a festival for a school assignment, and throughout it, I was literally praying for a pointless sex scene or something so I would have a legitimate excuse to leave the theater. This review is ridiculously long (longest I've ever written), but I don't care - I can't remember the last time a movie infuriated me so much.
