Jeffrey P The unique situation and it’s accompanying mystery and suspense are intriguing for awhile, but eventually there needs to be some reason or explanation for what is going on. Otherwise, it just looks like some random kid’s behavioral therapy session. Eventually, in the second half it looks like things are about to start developing... only for it to putter around in doing so before ending in an unspectacular manner. It did try something original and creative, so it does get credit for that and then some. In etwas Entfernung sehen sie ein kleines Mädchen wie es mitten auf der Fahrbahn läuft. Sie nehmen es mit ins nächste Krankenhaus, dort müssen die Ärzte feststellen das das Kind kein Wort spricht. Zu dem bewegt es sich nur innerhalb ihrer selbst gezogenen Kreidelinien. Kommt man diesen Linien zu nahe oder droht sie wegzuwischen, flippt das Mädchen aus und greift alle an. Paula und Simon wird das Mädchen anvertraut, da sie bei ihnen ruhiger zu sein scheint. Doch welche Geschichte hat dieses Kind erlebt, das sie so traumatisiert hat? Dieser Film geht ca. 106 Minuten und ist ab 16 Jahren freigegeben. Wir haben hier einen Thriller der Lose auf wahren Begebenheiten beruht, rund um ein traumatisiertes Kind. Mir gefiel das düstere und unscheinbare Setting in der kleinen Nachbarschaft wo eigentlich alle gute Freunde sind. Dann die Geschichte um da Mädchen was sich nicht ausdrücken kann, nur in Kreide leben kann und der Gewalt die ihr angetan wurde. Jedoch bleibt es größtenteils dabei, das der eigene Verstand mehr draus macht als es am Ende ist. Die Schnitte sind schrecklich, die Auflösung schon zisch mal gesehen und die Hauptfigur Paula einfach nur unsympathisch. Wirklich langatmig wird es hier nicht, aufgrund der anhaltenden Stimmung aber wirklich schockierendes darf man nicht erwarten, es sei denn man hat was gegen blutende Schwangere. Mit deutscher Synchronisation wird es hier sogar ungewollt lustig wenn Paula den Google Übersetzer an wirft. Am Ende bleibt ein durchschnittlicher Thriller der mehr sein will als er schlussendlich ist. Die Möglichkeit hier echten Horror entstehen zu lassen wird leider nicht ausgeschöpft, bis auf die Figur Paula die höchstens Horror mäßig anstrengend ist. Von mir bekommt der Film 5,5/10 Punkten. So eine Kinderklinik sollte mal ankommen und mir sagen, nehmen sie mal dieses verstörte Kind zu sich. Bei den juckts wohl im Gehirn? But the plot soon goes a little stray and it leaves many things unanswered and many actions and motivations not fully explained. There are also some situations that appear illogical. So in the end we feel a bit frustrated by the lack of answers and that is certainly not good. Second, the plot lose its interesting side when you find out it was all the work of a kidnapper and abuser, nothing paranormal like it makes you think in the first half.
