Audience Member I've lived in the salt lake area all my life, but only remember vaguely when this happened. I'm familiar with the culture, though, and the movie seems realistic and consistant to me. I can't imagine the loss, but what the drunk driver did with his life afterward goes to show the power of forgiveness in action. I really like this movie and the poignant scene when Curtis meets with Chris drives the point home marvelously. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Great acting and good cinematography. Terrible script and pacing/editing. But the wizard in the 7-eleven deserves a star on his own. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this was an excellent movie. I went with some hesitation but was very glad I went. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member For a Christian Movie it is well acted and screen play top notch ð'?ð'? don't miss this one Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is beautiful. It shows how you really can choose happiness or sadness after going something so traumatic. Forgiveness has always been something that was important to me but this has broadened my perspective. It touched me. The directors of this film did an excellent job in making this film. They added little things that really were the cherry on top. I would pay money to see this one-hundered times over. A great family movie. I suggest it to anyone and everyone! :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Went to see Just Let Go (Fathom Event) with a good friend who knew nothing at all about the movie (not even the title until opening credits rolled). She was captivated and... teary-eyed (twice). Henry Ian Cusick was top-notch as the lead. Viewers were pulled into the story and could feel his anguish throughout the whole ordeal and the troublesome aftermath. I did read Chris Williams' book previously so I knew the gist of the story & Director C. Clark held true & expanded effectively. It's very watchable & this is an excellent example where the phrase "thought provoking" does apply. The film has viewers not only think about the concept of forgiveness but also justice, and the true importance of family, and living life a certain way. Bad things happen to good people.... It's what they do about it that really matters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Megan Basham WORLD It treats Chris' subtle internal conflicts in a more realistic way than many Christian films dealing with similar subject matter, arguing for the merit of approaching stories with an eye for authenticity rather than imparting a lesson. Mar 16, 2018 Full Review Scott Renshaw Salt Lake City Weekly The well-intentioned lessons about forgiveness and redemption can provide their own emotional impact; a script has a responsibility for creating characters who behave like actual people. Rated: 2/4 Oct 9, 2015 Full Review Josh Terry Deseret News (Salt Lake City) Christopher S. Clark and Patrick Henry Parker's new film offers a powerful lesson on the nature of forgiveness.
